Job Summary

As a Technical Writer, you will be working closely with the Development and Quality Assurance departments. You will take responsibility for coordinating and participating in the collection, interpretation and writing of technical documentation, including operational process flows and end-user documentation for the company's products. As you master the use of our software, you will develop and update the process and training documentation and online HTML help. This information must be well written, presented, and must communicate efficiently to the end-user. When creating, updating and enhancing the documentation, the technical writer will adhere to format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a background in aviation business, maintenance, or a general functional knowledge in the avaition industry. 

Qualified applicants must demonstrate excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and an eye for detail. This position requires highly motivated individuals who are able to grasp complex software and learn quickly. It also requires the ability to work within tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word, AuthorIT, Corel Draw, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro (for screen capturing) is essential. Process related documentation experience is a plus. 

A Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communications, English, Business Administration (Aviation), Airline Maintenance or related field and two years work experience is required. Four years practical exposure in the specific field will waive educational requirements. Sample work will be requested upon interview.
